Nothing about solar power whatsoever. That was weird.
Otherwise I love this book.
It is a good idea to order a basic “breadboard kit” and multimeter when ordering the book for the lab projects that start in the first couple chapters. I also wish I had some other components such as 555 integrated circuits.
I’m overall enjoying the book, it’s much fun as it is a huge book.
I love the way the author describes the components and diagrams, it makes it very easy to understand.
I wasn't sur i wanted a 950 pages-book on electronics but I had it for a week now and I'm almost done.
It's really worth it
Some of the examples are also dated and the way radioshack is constantly mentioned, it feels like the author won't ever be updating the book.
If you're new or need a refresher on electronics, this is a fantastic option. I browsed about 5 books before deciding this was the best one.
