    Originally bought this book to help me with several projects, i.e., adding electric to a barn including 200 amp service, lights, multiple outlets, exhaust fan, etc... This book was a great resource and really helped. My son just became an electrician's apprentice so I bought a newer edition of this book for him. His only experience with electrical work has been assisting me and this book will be a great resource for him.

    This book starts out explaining the many devices ,switches and tools that the average home handyman electrical installer uses. I have learned a little more regarding GFCI outlets and panel boxes. What I did not see was the use and benefits of the newer "Combo#1 and #2 ECX bits and screwdrivers used currently by many (Leviton) and other brands of duplex outlets and some panel boxes. I would have also liked to see such tools as the Klein or other brand circuit breaker finder transmitter and receiver tools. A great book for both novice and experienced electricians.
